Prime Cabinet secretary, Musalia Mudavadi

The Prime Cabinet secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, issued a directive to Kenyans, urging them to stop complaining and start working towards a more prosperous and secure nation.

Mudavadi believes that the only way to improve Kenya's financial situation is by the collective efforts of its people.

He declared that regrets have no place and that work should be the main focus.

On Wednesday, Mudavadi gave a speech at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology's inaugural Kakamega International Investment Conference.

He emphasized the need for stronger cooperation between the national and county levels of government.

Mudavadi highlighted the untapped opportunities available at the county level that could change the game if taken advantage of.

He urged county governments to capitalize on the government's agreements on trade and investment opportunities with the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other regional and global partners.

Mudavadi reaffirmed President William Ruto's administration's commitment to devolution and supporting counties.

He also stressed the importance of counties focusing on their unique prospects and exploring businesses that could lead to investment, development, job creation, and long-term prosperity.

Mudavadi believes that counties should take the lead in helping the national government maximize the opportunities provided by trade agreements, as Kenya is a strong advocate for African integration through the Africa Continental Free Trade Area Agreement.
