Kenya Medical Research Institute study shows 2.6 Million people have been contracted the Covid-19 in Kenya.

The new study from the Kenya Medical research institute(KEMRI) indicates that almost half of the infected are from Nairobi and Mombasa.

” One out of five people in Nairobi and Mombasa has either contracted the disease and recovered or is still with the disease, ”  the study shows.

Patients visiting the hospitals are the ones who are severely affected. However, there is another group with strong immunity(antibodies).

People with blood group A are vulnerable to the disease while those with blood group O are protected.

The majority of the people who are infected and affected by the disease have underlying conditions.

The underlying condition worsens the immunity, hence antibodies get overwhelmed and the patient may die.
