As other governors were dancing and throwing vibes for Building Bridges Initiative, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya launched projects and opened the completed ones.

Kwale Governor launched a solar pump Irrigation project in Kinango. The governor said the only way to improve the community is by making sure everybody gets food on the table.

” In the spirit of ensuring excellent service delivery in our health facilities, H. E Fatuma Achani and  I have this afternoon made an impromptu visit to Kinango Hospital, ” he said.

The state of service delivery isn’t to the level desired it to be. The Governor instructed the CEC Health Services to make necessary changes in areas that require improvement.

” We want absolute sanity in services and discipline in our hospitals and we will not rest until we achieve this, ” he added.

Later the Governor opened an ECDE centre.

” Had a wonderful weekend today with the people of Magongoni in Puma ward. The Deputy Governor Fatuma Achani and I also officially opened their ecde school which has now reduced the agony of young kids walking 7 kilometers to school, ” he said.

” Our vision and mission is to provide ample learning environment to these kids and to date we have built 400 decades across the Country, ”
