ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi opens up on the issues affecting the country.
Speaking with Citizen TV presenter Lilian Muli, Mudavadi said the state needs to suspend some projects to help fund the Sh 8.4 Trillion debt.
” We should prioritize the allocation of our resources. Suspend some projects, cut out some programs, ” he said.
On BBI, he added that the fundamental arrangement on the constitution amendment was not decisive as most Kenyans think it is between two people.
” The intent and the content of the BBI is broadly good but there are fundamental issues that need to be revisited, ” he added.
The ANC boss added that the government need to check on its financial use as the CS treasury Ukur Yattani publicly said the treasury is broke.
” In simple terms, when the citizens are in Fuliza the Government is also on a longterm Fuliza with big lenders internationally, ” he added.
“If you look at things now, it would appear that sometimes the president and his deputy don’t seem to be reading from the same script, ” he concluded.
