EACC arrests KRA manager Chege Gikonyo with his wife Lucy Kangai for tax evasion -Giche Limited
EACC arrests KRA manager Chege Gikonyo, wife Lucy Kangai, over failure to pay Sh38.7m taxes amid probe into Sh597m unexplained wealth.
He has been arrested for a failure to pay taxes for himself and his wife. He has not paid taxes for more than five years despite bid to caution him from the graft agency.
They both own a company known as Giche limited. In a letter, the EACC has explained why the tax evasion is a serious offence knowing that KRA is the official agency to follow up the matter.
