The manchester United best player Wayne Rooney who has been missing due to injury will be back this weekend. According to the England team interim boss Gareth Southgate, Rooney will be back to the field tomorrow and the first match will be England against Scotland at Wembley stadium.
Gareth assured all the English fans that they will win the game against Scotland which is very important to qualify for the world cup. “He doesn’t have anything to prove to me. He is a big-game player with big-match experience and I think a night like tomorrow is perfect for him,” Southgate said. The interim coach is confident in winning the match. He needs to win the matches in order to secure his position in the coming months.
The team manager has been criticised on what happened with Slovenia should not be repeated with Scotland. The coach replied in a low tone because the ministry of sports was frustrated with the results. He added “The whole basis of our talk around the Slovenia game wasn’t about my belief in him as a player. I made a decision that I thought was right for that game and for the British fans.” Rooney is known for playing “hard to get” for the game and experienced with tricks which rendered him being the best English player.
