Fake, imposter Kilifi based detective arrested -DCI

Directorate of Criminal Investigations Detectives based at Mutomo Sub-County has today arrested Henry Kibet Korir, a notorious fraudster who has been personating as a DCI detective based at Kilifi.

The suspect is reported to have stolen a mobile phone from one of his victims on 17/01/2019 and transferred Ksh 109,000 from his bank account to his Mpesa account. The accused also stole a  mobile phone from another victim on 7/08/2018 and transferred Ksh 195,000 from her bank account to his Mpesa account.

Further investigations revealed that the accused has a pending case at the Machakos Law courts where a warrant of arrest was issued after he failed to appear before the court as was expected of him.
