County Assembly impeached governor Ferdinand Waititu get some relief after the Senators clash on the finalizing impeachment motion.
From the proceedings on the floor of the senate, the Waititu impeachment debate is allegedly from be rigged from the word go.
There were some Senators who were determined to save Waititu on the impeachment motion.
” The process is pre-determined from the word go. The committee of 11 is already briefed to save Waititu from the word go. This is unacceptable and I have strongly opposed it on the floor of the house. We need a plenary, ” said Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura.
” The people of Kiambu must get justice. Senate is not a house to clean up corrupt governors because the current senators want to be future governors, ” he added.

The Motion is said to continue tomorrow. Senate is expected to give the final score over the impeached governor.
