Pastor Ezekiel Odero changes tunes, asking his congregants to go to the hospital before visiting his church at Mavueni. The move comes after several incidents where some patients passed away in his church.

After receiving a diagnosis of chest symptoms and high blood pressure, a 58-year-old woman passed away in the church where she had gone to ask for prayers.

Grace Waithera Muchiri traveled from Nyeri to New Life Church in Shanzu to seek Evangelist Ezekiel Odero’s prayers, but she passed away on the church’s porch before she could meet the man of God.

The incident happened last year when he was still in his first church building in Shanzu before relocating to Mavueni, Kilifi.
