Iyumbu Housing Project in Tanzania a game-changer to housing in Dodoma

In 2017, Tanzania began on a Massive Housing Project in its capital Dodoma, aimed at offering adequate and affordable housing to all people in the city.

By May 2020, the government had 8000 houses ready and 500 by July 1st. The Government is constructing houses to beat the inefficiency and inadequate housing in the city.

The “Iyumbu Housing Project” has erected about 8500 houses and is targeting to construct over 30,000 houses by 2025.
