Prominent religious leader Bishop Allan Kiuna, renowned for his influential role as the co-founder and senior pastor of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) in Nairobi, has passed away, according to information from online sources.
Before his death, JCC Founder Allan Kiuna revealed he had been undergoing cancer treatment for a year.
According to the man of God, he was fortunate that God provided for him during his time of need.
He went on to share that his treatment cost a whopping Ksh 460 million.
“For the one year that I was in the US, my treatment cost 3 million dollars (KSh 460 million). And I did not remove one coin from my pocket because the God of heaven provided it,” he said.
He disclosed this information when his wife, Kathy, and other individuals joined him for a Thanksgiving ceremony.
In 2018–2019, Kiuna received a multiple myeloma cancer diagnosis.
Since then, he has been in and out of treatment. But he has now confirmed he is cancer-free.
Allan, who was battling cancer in 2018, did not go public about his medical condition until 2019.
Last year was a challenging period for us. After receiving a cancer diagnosis, my husband was away, seeking treatment.
“Chemotherapy caused him to lose hair, gain weight, and be unable to do much physically.”
“He could barely stand or walk and had to tiptoe around due to leg pain.”
“Chemotherapy put him at his lowest.’
Kathy Kiuna once remarked, “I witness my husband healing the sick, and I understand that he had to endure his own struggles to reach a new height, and the same is true for you.”
