KDF soldier Martin Wanjii Kabura arrested for defiling 16 years old girl in Kiriaini town, Nyeri

KDF soldier Martin Wanjii Kabura arrested on Tuesday after he purportedly defiled a teen in Kiriaini town, Nyeri County.

The Kenya Army soldier Martin Wanjii Kabura alleged to have volunteered to drop off the 16-year-old girl, who is a distant relative, at her school.

According to Police, the soldier made a stop-over at Kiriani market where he booked a room in one of the guesthouses and purportedly defiled the teenage.

After the ordeal, he bundled the girl into the car and sped off towards her school.

Police officers rescued the girl following an accident that occurred on Nyeri- Mweiga highway at around 6 pm way past the school.

Police accompanied the girl to the Nyeri County Referral Hospital for examination while the soldier was detained at the Nyeri Police Station pending a court-martial.
