Kenya government temporarily lift Italian flights ban over 800 Italian tourists trapped in Malindi

Health CS Mutahi Kagwe together with other state agencies have temporarily lifted the ban on Italy destined flights.

The ban has been lifted over 800 trapped tourists in Malindi who were scheduled to return to Italy.

The Government has said it will allow only one flight ” Empty flight” to Mombasa to fly back the trapped tourists.

” The Government banned international conferences in Kenya. No government officer will be allowed to fly to the coronavirus affected countries,” CS Kagwe added.

” The government will continue imposing the ban to the flights from coronavirus infected countries, ” the CS Mutahi Kagwe said.

Italy is one of the countries in Europe with the highest number of coronavirus cases.
