The Kinangop landlord who forgone rent due to Coronavirus sets food store for his tenants.

The landlord from Kinangop who waived 3-months rent for tenants
at his Parkway DotCom Apartments has again pulled another surprise
gesture of humanity rarely seen in Kenya.

Over and above tenants not paying house rent for the
months of March, April and May 2020, Michael Munene has set aside a unit
in his apartment, which he uses as a food store for any of his tenants
to access food “if life becomes more unbearable”.

He has also set aside another unit to be
used as a sickbay as they wait for professional medical help should any
health emergencies arise.

Has your landlord/lady said anything? The
government pleads with house owners to give waivers during this
difficult season of Coronavirus.
