Kenya has seen many pastors come to preach the word of God and perform miracles. However, sources reveal that most of these pastors perform miracles for a fee, while others fake miracles or use a mixture chemistry metals reactions to show miracles.
1. Peter Manyuru: A fake city pastor who makes money by selling ready-to-drink anointed oil to his brainwashed congregants. He owns an airplane TV. He sells his annointings for up to Sh5,000 per bottle.
2. Pastor Nganga: Pastor Nganga is not new to controversy. The pastor was the first to use potassium permanganate to convert water into blood. He is a master in the game of conmanship. He also visits Koinange Street during the early hours of the night.
He claims to be God’s general commander, commanding a group of sheep at his Neno Evangils center.
3. Bishop Allan Kiuna and his wife: For over a decade, the two pastors have been in business. The two live in opulence, thanks to tithes and offerings from their gullible followers, as well as money from their fake prayers. They perform fake miracles for their followers, who are mostly young, confused Kenyans.
The couple dines in South Africa. Bishop Allan plays golf in South Africa and jets into the country before Sunday.
The wife testified that they started the church while they were in a single room, sleeping hungry, but now they have found heaven on earth.
4. Bishop Margaret Wanjiru: The controversial preacher and politician has amassed millions of dollars, largely due to the generosity of his gullible followers. Wanjiru is currently constructing a monster twin tower along Haile Selassie Avenue, thanks to the proceeds from her fake miracle and prayers.
Wanjiru faked injuries after police beat her during the church demolition saga. She has mastered the art of pretense. During the 2022 August elections, her church served as the UDA meeting center, leading to President William Ruto’s election.
5. Pastor Maina Njenga of Hope International Ministries: The former Mungiki leader is another fake pastor. Everything that Maina does is fake.
While heading the Mungiki sect, Pastor Maina Njenga was among those who slaughtered people during the 2007/2008 PEV.
6. Pastor Arthur Gitonga: Pastor Gitonga plies his trade at Redeemed Gospel Church in Huruma. The pastor has built his empire thanks to his gullible supporters. He is another fake pastor.
7. Pastor Pius Muiru: He is a senior pastor at Maximum Miracle Centre. Muiru is one of the trade’s oldest men, and he performs miracles at a price. Kuna Nuru Gizani preacher, has been in the business for a long time, giving the miracle stick to new pastors like Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Church, who is an affiliated evangelist.
In his 2007 presidential campaign, the pastor of “Guza Radio Upate Muujiza” failed.
8. Pastor Michael Njoroge, also known as “pasta tapeli,” is the leader of Fire Ministries. His church is a prostitution den, and he usually sleeps with every woman who asks for his prayers. People claim that the pastor inappropriately touches wives and even engages in sexual activity with them when their husbands are not present at church.
9. Pastor Wahome is the founder of Helicopter of God Ministries Church, which is located in the city center. He is a polygamous man with a strong affinity for married women. He is another fake pastor.
10. Pastor Waweru of the Church of the Lord’s Christians, along Thika Road. This man is pathetic. 97% of his sermons revolve around money. This man is a copycat of Pastor Kanyari. He corroborates most of his financial begging with the verses in the Holy Bible.
11. Pastor Muriithi of Mavuno Church is another controversial pastor; he says, “Fake it till you make it.” He drives top-of-the-line cars, and he lives in opulence. His wife spends more than Sh50,000 a day on cosmetics, thanks to his gullible followers. He is also a fake pastor.
However, most people believe that Pastor Kanyari of “Panda mbegu ya 310”, Prophet Dr. David Owuor, and Pastor Ezekiel Odero were saints. The top 10 list of fake preachers in the country, who profit millions from their gullible followers, does not include the three preachers.
Bonus: Pastor Paul Kamlesh Pattni alias Brother Paul
Gold Smuggler Kamlesh Pattni, who later became a self-proclaimed pastor and sometimes goes by the name Brother Paul, also ran a similar scheme in Zimbabwe, which almost bankrupted the country. He is among the fake pastors in Kenya.
Brother Paul, along with pastor Maina Njenga, leads the Hope International Ministries Church in Kenya. For decades, Duo has been spreading the gospel of money laundering throughout the country.
Pattni ‘gave his life to Christ’ before his trial at Kamiti Prison over the Golden Berg scandal that rocked the country up until 2013. Pattni started smuggling gold from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) into Kenya in the 1990s. He’d then sell it abroad. At that time, his company, Goldenberg International, was partnering with the regime.
Brother Paul Kamlesh Pattni began preaching which was live on KBC before quiting the channel and adopting another.
