The Malindi incumbent MP had talks with Jubilee Aspirant Philip Charo of how to succumb Aisha Jumwa in the august elections. The MP had a closed-door consultation after Ms Jumwa was nominated with the ODM ticket to face Charo in the August polls.
He said, “I will join Jubilee if she becomes the party ticket holder.” Malindi is known to an ODM zone and missing the ticket, the aspirant has little chances of surviving in the Malindi politics.
The jubilee Aspirant Philip Charo welcomed the great news of Baraka Mtengo working with jubilee as a good backup in Malindi. Gideon Maitha Mung’aro, Dan Kazungu and former Jilore MCA Peter Ponda were among the people who attended the closed-door meeting.
