A man at Mbagathi hospital who was infected by the naval virus slit his throat due to shock of death from the virus. However, the doctors re-assured that more than 50 people have recovered from the virus.
The middle-aged man in his 30s who was admitted the same day at around 6.30 PM from Karen is among the 300 people who tested Positive of the Virus.
“No person has the power to comprehend why people commit suicide or even attempt. If there is anyone with this ability then suicide would be a thing of the past. He did not say why,” Nairobi Police Commander Philip Ndolo.
During normal checks, the medics heard some struggles in the room where he was admitted. They rushed and rescued him.
“We told him he is young and will recover. We informed him he was not the only one who is sick and that all shall be well,” the medics reassured him.
