Mganga Kutoka Kitui: Kakamega man dies in Kitui lodging with a woman before meeting a witchdoctor

A 45 years old man was found dead inside a guest house in Kitui on Saturday morning.

Kitui Central Sub County Director of Criminal Investigations Singi Nzyoka verified the incident.

He added that the dead had travelled to Kitui from Western Kenya in the company of two other men.

Phone records accessed by detectives determined that he was headed to Mbitini in Kitui Rural for an appointment with a witch doctor.

Mr Singi said that the man is suspected to have died from an overdose of an enhancement pill. However, witnesses say the man could have been in Kamote trap which is famous in the area.

He, however, added that autopsy reveals will help in investigations on the cause of death.

The deceased was taken to the Kitui Level Four Hospital Mortuary.
