After the axe from ANC to Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, ODM has been eyeing him to the Kakamega gubernatorial post.
ODM has been looking for a candidate to the top seat. Western has been a battlefield for ODM. According to sources, Mr Malala is almost closer to joining ODM.
” Sen Cleophas Malala will be the next Kakamega governor on an ODM ticket, ” MP Junet Mohammed said.
“Raila Odinga will make only stopovers in Kakamega and it will be a done deal. The guy seems to have mastered the art of politics. He’ll be the first man to serve as MCA, Senator and Governor. He can’t fall, ” he added.
Senator Malala nomination to chair senate committee on Waiguru impeachment that later sanitised her was a scheme by ODM to paint ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi as part of the corruption sanitizers system.
