Nyali MP Mohammed Ali aims at resolving the Problems facing Mombasa as portrayed in a meeting with Mombasa economic and civil society groups.
Under the umbrella of Okoa Kenya, Hon Mohammed Ali met several civil societies based in Mombasa to brainstorm the challenges facing the harbour city.
At his office, he met several group heads including Dock Workers Union, Transporters, Summit, Muhuri, Ujamaa, Seafarers Union, Mwamko Mpya, Ukombozi wa Pwani, LSK, maritime stakeholders among others.
They agreed to work on a report addressing the issues affecting the Port of Mombasa, Kenya Ferry Services and Hoteliers.
The write up will be presented to the National Assembly committees on Transport and Tourism for proper and effective mechanisms to resolve issues affecting the Mombasa economy.
