Nairobi county speaker Beatrice Elachi prepares to take over city hall

Nairobi governor Mike Sonko reach EACC offices handcuffed. Some other county executives also await arresting from DCI.

Nairobi county speaker Beatrice Elachi will take over as interim governor of Nairobi City County upon arrest and arraignment of Governor Mike Sonko before the court. H.E Sonko will have to step aside from the execution of the duties of his office.

The county will face a crisis after the 60 days of the county speaker controlling operations.  The county speaker is preparing to hold the first city hall meeting tomorrow.
