Ann Shiku, Akorino singer Allan Aaron’s ex-wife, has discarded her turban and severed her ties with the Akorino sect.

The woman, a mother of four, said in an interview that the primary motivation for her decision to remove the turban was the length of time that had passed since she had last visited Akorino Church.

She also made the decision to leave the sect when the other members of the church abandoned her at one of the most difficult moments in her life, which was shortly after the dissolution of her marriage to Allan Aaron.

Since then, she has become a member of another church. She burnt her turban citing of no use.
