Nyeri Deputy Governor (DG)Caroline Karugu has criticized a pit latrine billboard erected by Governor Mutahi Kahiga and Konyu Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) Eric Mwangi.
The DG said the billboard was a cheap publicity prank and bad advise.
“I wish to disassociate from these persistent cheap publicity stunts and I consider them extremely unfortunate and ill-advised,” she said.
The billboard in question is erected at Konyu ward as a signpost for a Nyeri County proposed project to build a pit latrine at Kahara ECDE Centre.

The picture of the billboard has gone viral on social media drawing massive attention.
