In a statement on Friday, the State House said the introduction of the clubs in primary schools is part of the government’s policy and strategy to have agriculture as a key economic activity in the country.
“The revival of 4-K Clubs is part of an elaborate Government plan to reposition agriculture as a key economic driver,” State House said.
Empowering Novel Agribusiness-led Employment is a capacity-building initiative for youth in agribusiness, which is co-funded by the Government and the African Development Bank.
Introducing 4K Clubs within schools will enable young innovators to come up with productive solutions that will help Kenya’s food basket.
