Prof. Kibwana opens a second fruit processing plant with a production capacity of 8000 litres per hour

Devolution Fruits are witnessed in Makueni County after the county government set on a second fruit processing plant. Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana flagged the new fruit processing machine that has already employed 200 people.

Mango, Pineapple and other fruits that are grown in Makueni will now be processed efficiently. The Governor, however, said that the county government is working on pricing legislation that will help farmers not to sale fruits at a throwaway price.

” The second Makueni Fruit Factory processing line arrives at the factory, Friday, 20th March 2020. This line will refine ready to drink juice, with a production capacity of 8,000 litres per hour, ” Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana stated.
