The Raila Odinga Polling station in Kibera Olympic Primary has been opened at around noon. The Presiding officer at the polling station said the polling station will be closed because of the insecurity.
The Police have been up and down with the Kibera residents. The PO is now contemplating to close the polling station at that school, as the walls have been damaged and the protesters alleged planning to burn the school as the police said.
“We are ready to close the polling station because the school properties are at risk and we cannot stay this way. Threats have been issued to our homes that after this we look other places to stay. We are looking the way on how we will escape and close this polling station.” IEBC official says.
