Murang’a Women representative Sabina Chege has distributed water tanks in all major markets, Bus stations, Matatus stages, bodaboda parks and all government officers in Murang’a county in fighting Covid-19.
” In an effort to kick out the Corona Virus infection, I have rolled out the program of installing water tanks with clean water in all the major markets and Matatu terminals in Murang’a County. The tanks will also come in hand with hand wash soaps, ” she said.
” The exercise kicked off today at Kenol DCC offices where the number and the same will be replicated in Kenol Town Market by Friday this week, “
” My people need to stay safe. The business has to go on as usual. Let’s protect ourselves, ” she said.
The county government of Murang’a gave a toll-free number where anyone suspected to have coronavirus symptoms, the county special ambulance will go for that person.
The tanks will be filled with water every three days until the pandemic is over. The tanks will remain as community tanks after the pandemic.
