Sabina Joy owner and Nairobi business mogul Gerald Gikonyo dies at 111

Sabina Joy owner and a Nairobi tycoon Gerald Gikonyo from Rwathia has died at age 111.

He died on Saturday while receiving treatment.

Gerald Gikonyo the owner of the popular entertainment house Sabina Joy, has been a business mogul in Nairobi from vegetable and charcoal business to owning vast houses in Nairobi downtown area.

Mzee Gikonyo, and other Rwathia boys had left their family village Kangema, Muranga county for Nairobi in the 1930s without education and settled in Nairobi to do business.
