Safaricom M-Pesa service will be unavailable for five hours on Friday for maintenance.
Safaricom said on Thursday the planned routine maintenance will run from 11.59 pm tonight to 5 am on Friday.
“We regularly undertake enhancements and maintenance of our system from time to time,” the telco said in a statement.
“During the maintenance, all M-Pesa services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused,” it added.
On June, Safaricom undertook routine maintenance of its M-Pesa services.
M-Pesa services have transformed many lives and businesses in the country.
