Senator Millicent Omanga security withdrawn as MP Silvanus Osoro escapes Police arrest

Police officers launch manhunt of the Member of Parliament for South Mugirango Constituency Silvanus Osoro. 

The move comes after the drama that ensued at Kisii during the Kiamokama Ward by-election of Nyaribari/Masaba.

Police officers urged the MP to present himself to Police as the manhunt continues.

The move comes after Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga security was withdrawn. She said her security was withdrawn at noon on Friday 5th March. 

” My personal security has been withdrawn. No explanation was given. I frown upon this move & demand that my security—which I’m entitled to as a member of parliament—be reinstated by the state. I’m, however, not worried because my security is God and the people. I remain strong!” she said.
