Taita Taveta county contractor under scrutiny after instances where he constructed road with electricity poles at the middle of the road.
Resident accuses the contractor of shoddy work.
” Just constructing the road on the side of the poles if Kenya Power refuses to remove them. “
” How much would a contractor cost by constructing the road off the pole. We know it’s the county government that give unqualified contractors tenders, ” the residents said.
” Such roads are useless and cannot be used with canters or lorries. The poles are at the middle of the road, ” they added.
