A trailer from Tanzania slips into the Indian Ocean at the Likoni ferry early on Wednesday morning.
Bystanders say the driver of the trailer lost control as he tried to manoeuvre into the ferry. He was heading to Mombasa Island.
The trailer was transporting maize from Tanzania although the specific quantity remains unclear.
No injuries reported but the incident caused heavy traffic at the ferry as ferries could only dock on one side.
The latest comes just days after a tourist bus belonging to Pollmans lost control and plunged into the ocean.
