Tanzania discovers leaves from iyaka or lyoko traditional wild trees believed to cure of Coronavirus.
According to Kilimanjaro region provincial administrator Hon. Anna Mghwira, the herbs treat the virus within a week.
Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli imported the herbal drink from Madagascar, he ordered people to embrace traditional herbs too.
Iyombo or Iyaka leaf, a wild plant that grows in scattered areas in Kilimanjaro, has begun to gain popularity after allegedly treating COVID-19.
Earlier this week the Kilimanjaro provincial commissioner announced the leaves as a cure after chewing them.

Already dozens have been claimed to be cured of the virus.
Tanzanians have shifted the bitter leaves of the claimed and chewing them on daily basis.
