President Uhuru Kenyatta becomes the first President in the world to advertise himself as the president rather than natural recognition. Billboards and signpost erected in Nairobi legitimatizing himself as the President of Kenya.
Kenyans on social media were not left out in criticising the move citing desperate and illegitimacy eats his governance. Closer to most of the signpost, Nairobi governor Mike Sonko advertises for being the governor of Nairobi.
Kenyans also had a quick thought that the adverts are being paid the taxpayers money. Money meant for developments is now used for advertisements as President of Kenya and Nairobi governor respectively.
For the first time, since independence, Kenya has a “president” advertising he is the president. pic.twitter.com/38u6z2nuej— Victor Atela ™ (@VictorAtela) 4 December 2017
