Chaos broke up in Likoni ferry after GSU descended on commuters. The GSU descended on the commuters following the raft-up on their fellow yesterday. The commuters started throwing stones on the police officers and they were disciplined.
People at the Channel did not find it easy even before the scheduled 6 PM time. A fracas broke up at the channel and police responded.
Nation Television journalist was beaten by Police at the channel. The Police commander in Mombasa ordered smooth movement or the commuters sleep at Mombasa island.

However, the starting curfew time in Mombasa was extended to 8.30 PM in-order to allow commuters to cross the channel.
