Mary Lincoln, a gospel singer, says that being called a “devil worshiper” on the Internet hurt her ministry.
Lincoln is married to Njogu Wa Njoroge, who is well-known in the media. She is his second wife.
In an interview with Ala C that was published on YouTube, the mother of three said that when she got married to the radio personality, critics made a variety of charges on different social media platforms.
“I have been ridiculed, but the thing that got me is now being claimed that I am a devil’s ambassador,” she said, adding that she is a Christian who was born to and reared by a reverend dad.
After Martha Mwihaki Hinga leaked the photos and video, she was having trouble paying her bills, but she still went to her church for a confession service.
Martha revealed online that Mary Lincoln had engaged in explicit conversation with a man through video chat while she was unclothed.
She requested that the man pay her apartment rent as well as her food expenses.
She went back to praying for repentance when her life was turned upside down by a sequence of circumstances, as Martha described.
