A dormitory at Musingu High School in Kakamega on fire two days after the school reopened, cause yet to be established.
Police officers say the investigations over the fire incident is yet to be known however being underway.
Some students have sent back home over the incident.
The school management says it unfortunate that maintaining social distance in the remaining dormitories will be a difficult task hence taking the student home.
