After unfounded accusations, the public roasted Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Sharrif Nassir for allowing Mombasa Cement to stop supporting Coast General.
However, his people say that Mombasa Cement might also be laundering money through Coast General and referral hospitals.
Why can’t they just pay the money through the Mombasa County Government? There is more to this than meets the eye.
“However, everybody knows about the corruption in our government. Most donors will withdraw after the move is officiated.
“I did my internship at Coast General. “With the work Mombasa Cement is doing for the patients at the facility, no county government or individual can do even a quarter of their effort,” said a former intern at CGRH.
So they had to remove iconic wildlife sculptures because of a row between the Mombasa County Government and Mombasa Cement.
Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir is making a huge mistake by messing with Mombasa Cement.
Mombasa Cement has helped the people of Mombasa more than the county government. Free food, free water, beautifying dumping sites, rectifying roads, paying school fees for kids, and paying hospital bills, among other activities
