Waiguru gets an extra blow after MCAs reject her budget Memo again

Kirinyaga County MCAs have yet again reject proposed Governor Anne Waiguru’s 2020/21 budget.

On Wednesday, July 15, 25 MCAs voted to reject Governor Waiguru’s memorandum on the budget in which she opposed to their proposed emphases on the budget that they had passed.

Only one ward representative supported the governor’s memorandum while another abstained from voting.

The remaining MCAs walked out of the Kirinyaga County Assembly’s tent in Kerugoya town.
