President Uhuru Kenyatta warns a part of leaders who earlier criticised his mother, telling them its a no go zone and the instead insult their mothers.
President Kenyatta paused in Ruaka on Wednesday while on a visit to his home county Kiambu.
He was inspecting a road project that will connect Nairobi, Kiambu and Muranga counties.
President Kenyatta grabbed the minute to address his followers following the recent round of politicking in which his family was insulted by DP Ruto’s allies.
“Wale watu washenzi wanaenda huko wakitukana mama yangu, waambieni wakatukane mama zao wachaane na mama yangu, ” President Uhuru said.
Further, the president revealed that although he is still young to retire, he has no doubts about leaving State House when his term in office ends.
His thoughts were aimed at Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno who earlier attacked him and his family verbally in now-viral videos.
Numerous leaders asked the two leaders on Monday, asking them to apologize for disrespecting the president, the former First Lady and by extension all Kenyan women.
