Why is Police FC under pressure to get a win in the FKFPL Kenya Premier League?

Musa Mohammed, the captain of Police FC with team mates

Musa Mohammed, the captain of Police FC, has acknowledged that his team is under pressure to perform well in the current Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League.

The squad captain said that they are anxious to earn their first victory of the year after losing one, drawing twice, and losing one of their first three games.

“Our supporters want us to win games, which we haven’t done, given the calibre of the team we have. But I am convinced that given the effort we are putting in, we will quickly begin yielding positive returns,” Musa added.

The seasoned defender also disclosed that the police are improving their offensive strength after scoring just one goal in their first three games.

“We have had trouble scoring goals in recent games; this is something we are working on in training. We’ll start seeing positive outcomes in our next game, I’m confident, Musa said.

The money bags will take on the winless AFC Leopards this coming weekend. The former captain of Gor Mahia is optimistic that his team will defeat Ingwe with the most points possible.

“The AFC Leopards would like to do that towards us since they haven’t won a game this year. But we were motivated to score as many points as possible against them and begin our winning streak,” Musa stated.

With two points from three games, the Police are presently ranked 15th in the league, two spots ahead of the Leopards, who have the same amount of points.
