Kenyan singer Petra’s public request for Ksh 100,000 to pay an urgent medical bill made her fans feel a lot of different things.

Petra said that she was hurried to the hospital in the middle of the night for an emergency growth removal, and she pleaded with her friends and family to help her raise the remaining Sh 100,000 necessary to pay for the cost.

Because she has been using Instagram to show how rich she is, people commented on her picture because of the difference between the two.

She had collaborated with a Jamaican dancehall musician by the name of Vybz Kartel, which left some of her admirers perplexed as to why she couldn’t afford the money.
