A few days after gospel artist and pastor Size 8 announced that he was breaking up with his lover of more than 10 years, Dj Mo and surprising senator Karen Nyamu weighed in on the saga.
Through his Instagram, Nyamu posted a message urging the two to put their differences behind them and reunite as a joyful family, pointing out that real divorces frequently don’t make their announcements public.
Nyamu stated that while Size 8’s ideology may lead one to publicly announce a breakup, in reality, they may still be together, but they are facing challenges that leave him feeling hopeless.
“True breakups are never announced.”
“When you come across an advertisement on social media, it’s important to understand that those couples are enduring a challenging period.
“We wish Size 8 and DJ Mo the best in their marriage. Please don’t get tired; no one said it would be easy,” Senator Nyamu said.
In a short statement on Thursday, Size 8, the mother of two children announced that she is now starting the journey of being single.
Size 8 has been married to a popular DJ, Samuel Muraya, aka DJ Mo, for more than a decade, and they have two children together.
“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace, and sometimes it doesn’t, but all in all, God is still on the throne,” Size 8 said via Instagram.
He added, “I have been married for 11 years, and now I am starting the journey of being single. However, God is still on the throne; I worship you, Yaweh!”
