A section of Manchester United fans has expressed disappointment after the club announced the departure of manager Erik ten Hag.

Many supporters felt he needed more time to build a strong team and deliver consistent results, though the club evidently had a different perspective.

“We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well for the future,” read part of the club’s statement.
