Geoffrey Mosiria, the Chief Environment Officer for Nairobi County, experienced a particularly challenging day in the field.
In response to the cancellation of the competition, Geoffrey Mosiria is receiving criticism from the Impala Club.
Mosiria has attracted attention for his efforts to protect the environment by keeping the city’s streets clean and quiet.
Mosiria and his colleagues attempted to enforce noise control during the renowned floodlight competition known as Floodies at Impala Club, but the crowd forced them out of the venue and faced strong opposition.
A video that Francis Gaitho uploaded on X demonstrates the horrible event that took place.
As others yelled at Mosiria, the footage showed him walking away from the scene.
On Saturday, November 2, Geoffrey Mosiria received recognition as the top officer in Nairobi County who demonstrated the highest level of performance.
Politrack Africa Limited also recognized Mosiria as the second-best chief officer in the country and presented him with the award.
Specifically, Mosiria said that the honour was a reflection of the collaborative efforts and devotion of his staff, as well as the backing of Governor Johnson Sakaja.
