London diplomat organises Kenya U20 team vs Spurs U23

Amb. Dr. Joseph Warui, Deputy High Commissioner at the Kenya High Commission in London, has revealed plans for friendly matches featuring Kenya’s U20 National Team and Tottenham Hotspur’s U23 team. 


The matches, organized in collaboration with former Harambee Stars captain and ex-Tottenham Hotspur player Victor Wanyama and Sos Lukio, CEO of Knuckleball Football Management UK, will take place in Turkey and the UK.

Amb. Dr. Joseph Warui, Deputy High Commissioner at the Kenya High Commission in London, said, “We had a productive discussion with Mr. Victor Wanyama regarding a partnership focused on promoting Kenyan football and the Victor Wanyama Academy.


“We also discussed promoting Kenya as a prime tourist destination and scouting opportunities for our youth to join clubs in the UK, Sweden, Turkey, Spain, and Portugal.”


“In addition, we are organizing a friendly match in December featuring the Kenyan U20 National Team against Tottenham Hotspur U23 in Turkey and the UK.”


“Mr. Lukio, CEO of Knuckleballs Football Management UK, leads our partnership. He is at the forefront of our collaboration to scout and promote Kenyan football.”
