Gideon Kibet, the cartoonist Yoko Kibet Bull’s true identity, has been kidnapped by the Subaru faction.
Since Saturday, Kibet’s brother Rony Kiplangat has also gone missing, according to his family.
The family told Citizen Digital on Wednesday that they believed Kiplangat had gone to church on Saturday when he vanished.
“We tried contacting him in the evening but were unable to get through. We assumed he had gone to SDA Kikuyu for a church service. We dispatched one of his friends to see whether he was home.”
In a phone call, their sister Mercy Cherotich said, “Kiplangat was not in the house.”
The family claims they were given an OB after reporting Kiplangat’s disappearance to the police station.
Known for publishing shadow pictures of President Ruto-like figures, the cartoonist is a student at Egerton University in Nakuru. Additionally, he has posted pictures of other judicial and executive figures.
The story of Kibet comes after other recent abductions of social media users.
