Chelsea Eyes Trevoh Chalobah’s Return Amid Defensive Crisis

Chelsea is facing a big problem in defence because key players Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile are injured. They are thinking about bringing Trevoh Chalobah back from his loan at Crystal Palace.

However, reports say that there is no break clause in Chalobah’s loan agreement. This means he cannot return to Chelsea before the end of the season unless everyone involved—Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and Chalobah—agrees to it.

Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, said he would be happy to keep Chalobah for a longer time if the chance comes up. But he knows that these kinds of deals can be complicated.

In the meantime, Chelsea’s manager, Enzo Maresca, is looking for other ways to improve the defence since Chalobah cannot come back right now.

Currently, Chelsea’s defensive players include Levi Colwill, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Axel Disasi.

Young players like Josh Acheampong are also stepping up to help because of the injuries. Chelsea might think about buying new players in January if they cannot get Chalobah back.
