Georgia healthcare worker arrested for twerking over a disabled man’s head smacked with a felony charge.
19-year-old Lucrecia Kormassa Koiyan was hit with one count of exploitation of a disabled person after she filmed herself dancing over a disabled man.
The video was posted on social media.
Koiyan could be seen wearing her scrubs and a stethoscope as she filmed herself dancing over her victim.
“I was appalled and disgusted that anyone would create such a video featuring a disabled person,” said Loganville police Chief M.D. Lowry.
“As police officers, our highest duty is to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and my detectives worked as swiftly as possible to bring charges in this incident.”
People on social media scolded the girl for being mischievous.
“This girl needs to be charged with multiple therapies and put in prison long term.
“This is not just a “dumb stunt” we do when we are young. There is something pathologically wrong with her brain,” netizens said.
Authorities are also probing Koiyan’s possible employment at an in-home adult daycare program.
While it remains unclear whether she was officially employed in a caregiving capacity, the nature of the videos has raised serious concerns about her access to vulnerable individuals.
Investigators are working to determine whether Koiyan had any professional credentials related to caregiving or if she misrepresented her qualifications to gain access to the disabled men seen in the videos.
