Kisii Thieves Break Church To Steal A Mixer, Causing Uproar

Police in Gucha South, Kisii, are looking into a case where thieves broke into a church and stole church equipment on Friday.

A police report says that officers got tips about the robbery that happened at a church in Rangenyo village, in Bonyaiguba sublocation.

When the police arrived at the church, they found that someone had cut through the metal wall to get inside.

They think the thieves used a special tool called Tinsnips to break in.

The thieves were successful in stealing several items. These included:

  • A power amplifier worth Sh85000
  • A second power amplifier worth Sh25,000
  • A mixer worth Sh30,000
  • A cross-over worth Sh10,000
  • An equalizer worth Sh10,000
  • A power controller worth Sh12,000

They also took other equipment like a long-range speaker worth Sh45,000, two mid speakers worth Sh50,000, and some smaller speakers worth Sh7,000.

The police are still investigating this incident.
